Anymore discussion on combining SG's? Wish they would just let us create a link to a couple of SG's this way would be easy. I'm open for whatever, just wanted to bring this up again.

Geo's blatherings

Here's the status of some of my heroes:

  • Igloo: 26 and about 7 bubbles now. He'll probably add extra sockets to Freeze Ray and Bitter Freeze Ray and put some endurance reduction enhs in at least Bitter Freeze Ray. Possibly "increase hold duration" in Freeze Ray. Both powers have been wonderful lifesavers in some bad situations (whether saving my life or a teammate's :D)
  • Blackjack: 23 and a few bubbles. I'm having a hard time progressing him, cause in most team situations Igloo is far more valuable.
  • Crusasder: 22 and got the much needed Stamina the other day. Makes a big difference but he still needs some of the powers I skipped (caltrops, beanbag, smoke grenade etc.) and extra socketing in Stamina.
  • Metal Mandroid: 14 finally, got Hover. I toyed with going down the Leaping route cause I enjoy using his couple knockback punches. But fly seems more in keeping with the hero's background and design.

I keep trying to get pic of Sgt. Chaos using Eviscerate (backflip, I think?), this is closest I've come to capturing it.

    [Captain Meson's "friends" blog] Bureaucracy

I hate to admit it, but man, I can't wait to hit the streets tonight and work out some frustrations on tech- or magic-augmented bad guys that need to be hit hard.

Why can't these silly bureaucrats understand that "We need you to meet this milestone this week" and "Please do these extra tasks, screen these candidates, attend these reviews, and come to this meeting" are mutually exclusive?

I hope to see you all in a few minutes, as I'm splitting the difference and planning to come in this weekend to work on that nearly-complete milestone.

If I can't make it, I hope that Expresso Joe finds some of you with my instructions. He seems like an up-and-coming hero, combining some of the traits of Java Joe (who is moving back to New York) and that wacky super-pizza-delivery guy I met the other day.

    Igloo can finally breathe...

I promise a break from Igloo info after this post. :D Added a breather (so Frost Breath makes more sense) and more sinister looking goggles for his helmet, at Icon shop.

    Action Screenie of the Day

Unfortunately, before proving victorious as shown here, Igloo was plastered by the "surprise" Warwolf, who looked like an Oberst white-level con. I was short on respites and was quickly clawed to my doom and back to more than 6,000 debt. ARGH!!!!!!!!!! Posted by Hello

    Death and Taxes

This is a test of the emergency broadcast system. Shortly a tone will sound, please do not be alarmed for this is only a test....................................had this been a real emergency you would have been instructed to (use your imagination).

Sgt. Chaos has had a good week of missions, however is still hovering around 20K debt, so his sidekicks have been out in force this week - Rad Chill, Maginon, Caped Wonder.........

    Player status updates

    Amongst us pubbers:
-Info Overload (Chaz) has returned from Las Vegas to put villains back in his place. :)
-Igloo (Geo) will be on a lot Thursday and Friday evenings.
-Captain Meson (Weregamer) hopes to check back in Friday evening.
-Sgt. Chaos (Warcloud), like Igloo, is probably busy whittling his debt down. :D

    Igloo Update & Blog introduction

Igloo's my L26 Ice Blaster. Got Bitter Freeze Ray recently, which is great and esp. useful on higher level villains who seem impervious to freeze ray. I spent some time working off some debt yesterday and today, got it down under 5,000 now.

This is a blog of the adventures of heroes from the Fraternity for Freedom supergroup (Pinnacle Server) playing in City of Heroes. For now that's Geo, Weregamer, Chaz and Warcloud (our Pub nicknames), with an invitation pending to Jaded.
